A&D Industry Overview - Fred Runco

Mr. Runco is Senior Director, Strategic Marketing – Aerospace, Defense and Government at IHS. Primary role includes Strategic Planning, Market Analysis, Industry Direction, and Business Development. Responsible to ensure IHS solutions and services provide value and meet both current and future needs and challenges for our Aerospace and Defense customers.

Fred is a global marketing, sales & business development expert who has specialized in defense, aerospace, government and technology markets over a career spanning 20+ years. Prior to joining IHS in 2008, he served as a senior executive with Technical Consultants International where he managed global business development and market strategies for technology companies. Previously Mr. Runco was Director of Asian Operations and Global Accounts Manager for a former division of Texas Instruments.



 
 

Fred has held senior level positions at several leading technology firms including Kodak, Technical Instruments, Ametek, Data I/O and Veeco. His professional career began in technology research and had major responsibilities in worldwide marketing and sales for Kodak. Fred has lived in Germany, Singapore, Japan and China and currently resides in Dallas, TX, USA. Education includes multiple executive leadership programs for aerospace technologies and international business; Bachelor of Science, Colorado Statue University.
